S. Koreans Urge U.S. to Abandon Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- The Central Council for National Independence and the Peaceful Reunification, the Headquarters for the Peace Treaty and the People's Democratic Party of south Korea held a rally in Seoul on September 18, urging the U.S. to abandon the hostile policy toward the DPRK, according to the south Korean online paper Minjok Ilbo.

A statement was read out in the rally.

The statement said the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military drill proved that the U.S. was trying to swallow up the whole Korean peninsula through nuclear disaster.

It stressed that the organizations will stage indomitable struggle with the people to make the U.S. abandon its hostile policy.

After the rally, the organizations presented a letter of protest to the U.S. embassy.

Then the participants marched to the "government" building.
