On display at the exhbition are more than 1 900 musical instruments of over 90 kinds, parts of instruments, articles of consumption and jigs and tools for manufacturing instruments, manufactured by musical instruments production units, organs for art education, factories and enterprises and individual musical instruments producers.

The exhibition will involve experience-sharing, information for science and technology, concert and other events.

Present at the opening ceremony were officials, researchers, working people of relevant fields and units that presented instruments, teachers and students of art educational field, overseas Koreans and foreigners who presented musical instruments.

Pak Chun Nam, minister of Culture, made an opening address.

The exhibition will last till Sept. 25.
