Dialogue Is Not Gift from Anyone: Minju Joson
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Alarmed by the DPRK's launch drill of intermediate-range strategic ballistic rocket Hwasong 12, the south Korean chief executive on Sep. 15 convened a "national security council" meeting at which he asserted that the DPRK "launched a ballistic missile in defiance of the UNSC resolution" and "dialogue" is not possible under this situation. When the DPRK succeeded in H-bomb test, he said that "now is not the time to have dialogue with the north" and "highest-level pressure and sanctions are needed".

Officials of Chongwadae and the puppet ministries of Unification and Foreign Affairs let out a flurry of rubbish, saying that "efforts should be focused on sanctions and pressure against the north" and "they would lead the north to dialogue through sanctions and pressure".

It is ridiculous for those puppets without any power and ability to behave in such disgusting manner as if dialogue were a gift, Minju Joson Friday says in a commentary, adding:

Dialogue is not a gift presented by anyone and sanctions and pressure can hardly go with dialogue.

If the south Korean authorities truly intend to improve inter-Korean relations through dialogue, they will desist from seeking the sinister aims to stifle their compatriots out of the stand for national independence and stop all sorts of hostile acts.

Their reckless assertions are nothing but a cunning trick to cover up the crimes committed to deny and check dialogue.

The south Korean authorities should pull themselves together and get rid of sycophancy and humiliating stand towards the U.S., though belatedly, and do something helpful to improving the inter-Korean relations from the standpoint of national independence.
