The Sweden-Korea Friendship Association said that the DPRK's successful H-bomb test is a signal demonstration of bolstering up military capabilities and an important measure for defending peace on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of the world.

The DPRK which has been put on the position of a nuclear weapons power serves as a model of the progressive people struggling for independence, it noted.

The Central Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation said that nuclear deterrence for the Korean people serves as a reliable guarantee for the security and prosperity of the country and, therefore, the DPRK's access to nuclear weapons is a legitimate right of a sovereign state.
