Russian Embassy Officials Visit Area of Mt Paektu

| Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials visited the area of Mt Paektu on September 22 and 23 on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's visit to the Far Eastern Region of the Russian Federation. The guests laid bouquets at a mosaic depicting the three commanders of Mt Paektu at Kim Jong Il's Birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp and paid tribute to them. Being briefed on his revolutionary career in the yard of his old home, they went round relics preserved there. They toured Mt Paektu. They also went round the Samjiyon Grand Monument and the Chongbong Bivouac which convey the anti-Japanese revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung. |
