Present there were Kim Phyong Hae, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, Ko Kil Son, minister of Oil Industry who is chairman of the Korean Acrobatic Gymnastic Association, officials concerned, players and coaches and their families.

Vice-Premier Jon Kwang Ho in a congratulatory speech underlined the need for the players and coaches to cherish the warm solicitude of the mother Party and become genuine sports persons of the Party and the country winning only victories in the international games with redoubled efforts.

Player Jong Kum Hwa in her reply evinced a pledge to flutter higher the flag of the DPRK at international contests and powerfully demonstrate the dignity and might of Juche Korea.
