Against this backdrop, members of the "Liberal Korea Party" in south Korea are openly crying out for "going nuclear" under the pretext of the DPRK measures for bolstering up its nuclear deterrent for self-defense.

Rodong Sinmun comments Monday that their begging for the redeployment of tactical nuclear weapons of the U.S. can never be justified as it is an indelible treachery to the country and nation through which to make the inviolable territory of Korea and the Korean nation fall victim to U.S. nuclear war.

The commentary goes on:

The traitors, who turned the whole of south Korea into a nuclear war advanced base of the U.S. and have acted as faithful war servants of their American master, are now calling for "exercise of the right to self-defense" and "nuclear counteraction". This is nothing but an impudent action.

As if nuclear attack is imminent, they are busy building the public opinion that early introduction of the U.S. tactical nuclear weapons into south Korea is a way out. But nobody will lend ear to such assertion.

Their action will bring them nothing but disgrace and death.
