Footballer Kim Kyong Yong won the best player and top scorer prize.

The footballers and coaches were greeted by Ri Il Hwan, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jang San, secretary general of the DPRK Football Association, and officials concerned.

The players and coaches visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill to lay a floral basket and bouquets and pay tribute to them.
