DPRK's Founding Anniversary Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- Meetings, receptions, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Nepal, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, Iran, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Guinea, Nigeria, South Africa, Libya, DR Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Algeria, Uganda and Egypt between September 5 and 9 to celebrate the 69th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

On display in the venues of the events were photos showing the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

There were also works of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu and books and photos introducing the reality of the DPRK.

Such Korean films as "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation" and "Prosperous Pyongyang" were shown.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and pictures depicting them and paid tribute to them.

Noting that Kim Il Sung founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Nepalese parliamentary speaker hoped that the Korean people would continue to work miracles, innovations, changes and development in all the fields under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The defense minister of Laos who is member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Lao People's Revolutionary Party said that the DPRK would surely win the final victory as it has the single-minded unity of all the servicepersons and civilians around the party and the leader and the tremendous military strength.

The state minister for the Foreign Ministry of Uganda hoped that the Korean people would as ever make dynamic advance by dint of self-reliance and self-development.
