Educational System of DPRK Praised Abroad
Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- Internet media of Venezuela and Russia posted articles praising the DPRK's educational system on September 6 and 7 to mark the 40th anniversary of the publication of President Kim Il Sung's work "Theses on Socialist Education".

Venezuela's online paper Vida Y Arte said:

The universal 12-year compulsory education is enforced in the DPRK.

The first character of its compulsory education is that it is based on free education as the state takes charge of finance for education. This is by no means to say that the DPRK is richer than other countries.

Profound and noble views on posterity and future are thoroughly embodied in the state policy of the DPRK where there are many things hard to understand in capitalist society in which everything is decided by money.

The second character is that it is aspiring to the highest reasonable education method as required by the times.

Thanks to the universal 12-year compulsory education system, students in the DPRK fully acquire ever-increasing broad knowledge in line with the rapid development of science and technology and they have full capability of self-activities after graduation.

Now the DPRK is dynamically advancing toward the eminence of a socialist power, a highly-civilized nation, on the basis of the most popular and advanced educational system.

The Russian internet homepage Patrioti Moskva praised the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who devoted all their life to the education for rising generations, regarding it as one of the key problems decisive of the country's destiny and the nation's future. It stressed that thanks to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un the Juche education of Korea is steadily making rapid progress.
