S. Korean Bodies Call for Averting Nuclear War

| Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- Thirteen organizations of south Korea, including the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification, the Confederation of Trade Unions and the Kimchon Citizens Measure Committee against THAAD Deployment held a news conference outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on Sept. 25, calling for averting nuclear war on the Korean peninsula, according to the south Korean paper "Nodong and Segye." Speakers at the conference contended that the tension in the peninsula is attributable to the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK. They said a peace accord should be concluded to prevent the danger of nuclear war. |
