What catch eyes of visitors are Ryongaksan-trademarked soaps like shampoo, rinse, shower gel, detergent for vessels and powder soap, all of which are made with Ryongaksan spring water and extracts of rose, lemon, clove, lily and ginger.

Those soaps are functional products good for hair nutrition, skin protection, prevention of discoloration, antibiosis, fiber protection, etc.

They are produced by the Ryongaksan Soap Factory which was newly built at the foot of picturesque Mt Ryongak last year under the deep care of the Party and the government for improving the people's material and cultural standards.

The factory is equipped with modern injection presses and other latest facilities for analyzing and checking the quality and hygienic safety of products.

In an interview with KCNA at the trade fair, Mun Son Mi, a resident in Central District, said:

I bought lemon-flavored detergents. I have been used this detergent since last year. It gives no harmful effect on skin, so I think this detergent is better than imported ones.
