Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- The recycling of urban waste gains momentum in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, as part of the efforts to ensure clean ecological environment and raise the utility rate of resources.

The city is planning to recycle all the urban waste.

A waste treatment factory recently commenced operation in Ryokpho District to produce fertilizer, building materials and others.

And waste treatment factories are now under construction in Central, Pothonggang, Moranbong, Phyongchon, Tongdaewon and Rangnang districts.
