In this regard, Kim Un Chol, vice department director of the C.C., the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League, told KCNA:

More than 1.79 million working youths and students across the country have petitioned to be allowed to join or rejoin the army after the announcement of the statement of the chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission.

In three days alone, at least 120,000 working youths in North Phyongan Province and over 97,000 in South Hwanghae Province volunteered for service in the army.

Choe Hui Chol, a worker of the Chollima Steel Complex, told KCNA:

Trump, not aware of his doomed fortune, dared make reckless remarks to totally destroy the DPRK. So, I am determined to take up the arms of the revolution in my hand to cut off the windpipe of Trump at a blow and thus give vent to the grudge and wrath of our people against the U.S. imperialists. It is a unanimous will of all the young people working at the complex.

Kim Kwang Il, a student of Kim Il Sung University, said:

It seems Trump thinks that if a war broke out, the U.S. mainland might have been safe. I can not understand what has made such a war maniac, bereft of the sense for the reality, the president. I swear on my honor as a youth student of Juche Korea to exterminate old lunatic Trump ignorant of what a true war is like.
