Present there were officials and researchers of the Institute of Agricultural Science, ministries, national institutions and science research, educational and relevant fields.

Attending it were also members of missions of the European Union Programme Support and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.

Speakers at the symposium stressed the importance of seed in radically increasing production of greenhouse vegetable, legume and grass production conducive to improving people's diet and public health.

The symposium dealt with scientific problems arising in researches into seeds and application of their results.
