Present there were Kim Ki Nam, vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, and officials of party and administrative bodies and working people's organizations, armed forces organs and science, education, literature and arts, media and party cadre training institutions and the field of the preservation of revolutionary relics in Pyongyang.

The floor of the seminar was taken by Kim Ki Nam, Ri Yong Chol, director-general and editor-in-chief of the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House, Cha Kyong Il, president of Kim Il Sung Political University, Myong Son Yong, principal of Kim Il Sung Higher Party School, and Sin Yong Chol, director of the Political Bureau of the Cabinet.

They said that Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the WPK was a great auspicious and historic event as it made it possible to steadily develop the WPK into the party of the leader and the revolutionary party of Juche type and advance straight its cause along the invariable orbit of independence, Songun and socialism.

They referred to the undying feats Kim Jong Il performed with his rare ideo-theoretical wisdom and tested leadership to strengthen the WPK into a revolutionary party of Juche type in which the monolithic idea and guidance of the leader are strictly ensured.

His greatest feat for the revolutionary cause of Juche is that he saw to it that respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was held at the top post of the WPK to open up a bright future of the socialist cause of Juche, they said in unison.

Noting that Kim Jong Il's feats for building the revolutionary party of the leader have been creditably preserved by Kim Jong Un, the speakers stressed that Kim Jong Il would be always alive as the eternal general secretary of the WPK, the symbol of invincibility and the Sun of Songun as he had strengthened the WPK into the powerful political staff for the Songun revolution under the uplifted banner of Songun all his life, thus fully displaying its dignity and might to the world.

They underlined the need to get rallied as one in mind around the WPK Central Committee and fully demonstrate the invincible might of the great Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist party and make all-out charge for the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche under the bright blueprint for building a great prosperous and powerful socialist country unfolded by the 7th Congress of the WPK.
