The Peruvian Communist Party, the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland), the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru, the General Kim Jong Il Peruvian Amicable Institute, the Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Peruvian Association for the Study of Revolutionary Activities of Comrade Kim Jong Suk, the Peru-Korea Friendship Institute for Study of the Juche Based Songun Policy, and other political parties and organizations in Peru said this in a joint statement on Sept. 28 to condemn the bellicose remarks of the U.S. ruler against the DPRK.

The statement expressed deep concern about the touch-and-go situation prevailing in the Korean peninsula due to the ceaseless war drills and sanctions and pressure against the DPRK by the U.S.

Because of the recent rude speech of the U.S. president at the world's biggest official diplomatic arena, there was a coldhearted atmosphere in the UN, the statement said, adding:

The speech of the U.S. chief executive characterized by threats and provocations against the DPRK showed once again the real nature of the U.S. as a gangster hell-bent on abusing the UN as a means to justify its aggression and pressurize other sovereign states.

The UN should urge the U.S. to withdraw its aggressor troops and war equipment from the Korean peninsula and repeal the unjust "sanctions resolutions" infringing on the sovereignty of the DPRK.
