Officials and working people in the fruit field brought about a rich harvest despite unfavorable meteorological and climatic conditions by cultivating apple trees with all sincerity while planting high-yielding, delicious and superior-strain fruit trees.

Judges, selected from people, sampled apples of scores of species presented from Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm, Kosan Combined Fruit Farm and fruit farms in Kwail County and Pukchong County to estimate their sweetness, sourness, fragrance and moisture.
