Among those present were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, officials concerned and youth league officials.

Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that as Kim Jong Il was held at the top post of the WPK it became possible for the Party to demonstrate its might as an invincible revolutionary party which shines along with the august name of the President and for the army and people to victoriously advance the cause of Juche revolution, the cause of building a socialist power under the leadership of the Party despite tempests of history.

They said that Kim Jong Il strengthened the youth league into the youth organization intensely loyal to the party and the leader and trained the youths to be dependable successors and stalwart fighters of carrying out the cause of Juche revolution, and thus opened new heyday of youth movement.

The cause of building Juche-based party led by Kim Jong Il has been brilliantly carried forward by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, they said, and went on:

Under his trust and loving care the youth league has grown to be the league shining with the august names of the great leaders and the youth movement has greeted the heyday of its development.

They stressed the need for all the youths to strive for the final victory of the cause of Juche revolution under the guidance of Kim Jong Un.
