DPRK's Nuclear Force Can Never Be Taken Issue with: Minju Joson
Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- The nuclear force of the DPRK can never be taken issue with by anyone, says Minju Joson Sunday in a commentary.

An opinion goes in the international arena that there is no other way but to accept the DPRK into the nuclear club in order to settle the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula.

It is the logical result that the international community expresses understanding of the DPRK's measures for bolstering its nuclear force and denounces the "beheading operation" and other annual joint military exercises waged by the U.S. at the doorstep of the DPRK as more dangerous, the commentary notes, and goes on:

It is the U.S. which compelled the DPRK to have access to nuclear force and bolster it.

The U.S. included the DPRK in the targets of preemptive nuclear attack and has seriously threatened and blackmailed the security and the right to existence of the DPRK and staged joint military drills every year, aggravating the situation on the Korean peninsula in a cyclic manner.

Now that the U.S., the world's biggest nuclear weapons possessor, is desperately trying to militarily stifle the DPRK, the latter could not but consider the final means for defence of the country and for the maintenance of its existence and opt for the possession of nuclear deterrence for self-defence to ensure military balance with the U.S. and deter a war.

The DPRK will never abandon the nuclear force which it built at a high cost, the valuable strategic assets on which hinges the destiny of the country and the nation, no matter however hard the riff-raffs may try to take issue with it.

No matter how many times the world may change, the army and people of the DPRK will further bolster qualitatively and quantitatively the nuclear sword for self-defence, a boon for the eternal prosperity of the country and the happiness of all posterity to come.

The U.S. and its vassal forces should clearly face up to the situation and drop the foolish ambition of the "north's nuclear dismantlement".
