The contest will be held at the Kim Il Sung Stadium, Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and other stadiums and gymnasiums here. It will bring together working people, housewives, school youth and children and sportspersons selected from Pyongyang and each province (municipality).

They will compete in the five professional sports events including football and basketball, six popular sports events including volleyball, tennis and Taekwon-Do, and three-event sports and amusement games.
