Rodong Sinmun Warns Japan against Going Reckless with Backing of U.S.

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- The Japan air "self-defense force" staged PAC-3 interceptor missile mobile deployment drill in Nahashi, Okinawa and made it to public. Earlier, the Japan defense minister Onodera visited the ground deployment interceptor missile unit stationed in Hokkaido where he urged the need to maintain full-combat readiness. In the meantime, escort ship Sazanami of Japan's maritime "self-defense force" staged a joint military drill with the U.S. nuclear carrier Ronald Reagan in waters off Okinawa.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Monday says the Japanese reactionaries' moves to stage a comeback under the pretext of "threat" from the DPRK has gone beyond the tolerance limit.

The Japanese reactionaries are seriously mistaken, the commentary notes, and goes on:

Should Japan take the advantages of the U.S. war racket, they can not but be a target of the powerful strike means of the DPRK's revolutionary armed forces.

Japan can never be safe if a war breaks out on the Korean peninsula. Everything in Japan mobilized for the war can be destroyed to pieces, to say nothing of the U.S. aggression bases there.

The Japanese authorities are strongly warned that if they go reckless with the backing of the U.S., they can bring irrevocable misfortune to the Japanese archipelago.
