Meetings, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Mexico, Bulgaria, Iceland, Norway, the Czech Republic, Bangladesh and Myanmar from September 24 to October 4.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and photos showing the revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were their works, and books and photos introducing the DPRK.

"Grand Celebration of 70th Founding Anniversary of Workers' Party of Korea in Presence of Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un", "Monument to Party Founding" and other Korean films were shown at the film shows.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico said that the WPK which was founded by Kim Il Sung and developed into the ever-victorious party by Kim Jong Il has led the indomitable struggle of the Korean people to a victory for a long time.

The general secretary of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society highly praised Kim Jong Il as peerlessly elder statesman as he built the WPK into the most seasoned political staff and demonstrated the dignity and might of the country and the nation to the whole world.

The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway noted that the WPK which holds Chairman Kim Jong Un in high esteem has led the Korean people's struggle to defend the dignity and sovereignty of the country and build socialism to a victory while consolidating the nuclear deterrence for self-defence in every way.

The deputy general secretary of the C.C., Czechoslovak Communist Party said that the exploits performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the foundation and development of the WPK can be known well through the successes being achieved by the Korean people in building a socialist powerful state under the leadership of the party.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Bulgaria, Norway and the Czech Republic.
