Greetings to Kim Jong Un from Palestinian President

| Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Tuesday received a message of greeting from Mahmoud Abbas, president of the State of Palestine and chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization. The president in his message said that he was pleased to extend the sincere and warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the government and friendly people of the DPRK on behalf of the State of Palestine and its people and on his own behalf on the founding anniversary of the WPK. He wished Kim Jong Un and the DPRK and its people bigger progress and prosperity. He highly appreciated the DPRK for supporting and extending solidarity at the international arena to the Palestinian people waging a long struggle to achieve freedom and independence. He affirmed that they will value the historic relations of friendship between the peoples of the two countries and develop them in conformity with the wellbeing and common interests of the two peoples. He sincerely wished Kim Jong Un good health, happiness and success. |
