No One Can Criticize DPRK's Access to Nuclear Weapons

Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- Media and experts of the world comment that the nuclear deterrence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is to repel the U.S. invasion and everyone knows that the U.S. forced the DPRK to the possession of nukes and threatened its security by war exercises, but only the White House denies this fact. They also say that the DPRK will never give up the nuclear weapons.

Media and experts of the world who used to approach the DPRK's bolstering up its nuclear force with misunderstanding and antipathy have undergone a change in their appreciation of it, Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in a commentary.

The commentary goes on:

The DPRK has developed and possessed nuclear weapons to cope with the U.S. nuclear threats and blackmail.

The DPRK's access to nukes and development of nuclear force are a legitimate right of a sovereign country to self-defence as it has been exposed to constant threat by the U.S. obsessed with the ambition for world hegemony.

No one can deprive the DPRK of this right and fault the DPRK's legitimate exercise of the right to self-defence.

No one can change the basic strategic position of the DPRK, a nuclear weapons state and nuclear power.

The nuclear force of the DPRK is a powerful war deterrent and putting spurs to its development will ensure more durable peace.
