Koreans in U.S. Support National Cooperation, Not Alliance with Outsiders

Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- A seminar for peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula was reportedly held on Oct. 1 in New York under the joint sponsorship of the New York and Washington regional committees for implementing June 15 joint declaration on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the October 4 declaration.

The participants said that to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration is a shortcut to the peaceful reunification of Korea.

Noting that the danger of war is running high on the Korean peninsula, they stressed that the peaceful reunification of the peninsula should be realized through national cooperation, not alliance with outsiders.
