While going round the construction site, Pak encouraged officials and workers to push forward with the project in its final stage.

A consultative meeting was held on the spot.

The meeting underlined the need to make all-out efforts to finish the project for building an oxygen heat blast furnace and installing a large oxygen separator in its final stage and took the steps to settle the issues arising in Juche iron production.

Pak also acquainted himself in detail with the work of the Chongjin Steel Plant and the Puryong Ferroalloy Factory and discussed the increase of production of Juche iron and ferro-alloy to the maximum.
