Commenting on the fact, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says such absurd pretext is aimed to cover up the brigandish nature of the U.S. and inveigle the whole world into its criminal scheme to stifle the DPRK.

The DPRK's independent nuclear development against the increasing U.S. nuclear war threat is a legitimate right to self-defense no one can criticize, it stresses, adding:

The DPRK's state nuclear force is the war deterrent to put an end to the U.S. nuclear threat and prevent its military invasion from A to Z, and the final goal is to ensure equilibrium of force with the U.S.

The U.S. and its vassal forces are making desperate efforts to block the advance of the DPRK, talking about "threat" to global peace and security. But such moves go to harden the faith that the road chosen by the DPRK is quite right and it should take to this road to the last.

The DPRK, as a responsible nuclear weapons state, will as ever honestly discharge its mission and duty for preserving peace and security of mankind.
