In particular, Choe Kwang got 1,000 points, the highest mark, at the contest held on March 3-13 with the attendance of over 7,280 rivals from 70-odd countries like Germany, the U.S. and the UK.

Choe Song Yong and Ri Myong Hyok also took the first place at the contests held in February, May and August.

Students of the university have participated in the Codechef contest since 2013, winning its title 16 times.

Their success is a clear manifestation of validity and vitality of the educational policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.
