Workers and scientists at the Tanchon and Hongwon dockyards built "Hwanggumhae"-class fishing boats in a short span of time by introducing advanced methods.

The Jongju, Hanchon and Unjon fishery stations have laid down fishing boats equipped with modern shoal detector and fishing tackles.

According to Ri Kang Chol, an official of the Ministry of Fisheries, those fishing boats built by dockyards and fishery stations across the country are making good hauls.
