Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The army and people of the DPRK will surely win the final victory in the standoff with the U.S., holding aloft the banner of line of simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of nuclear force, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in an article. The article goes on: The strategic line of the Workers' Party of Korea provides a powerful guarantee for steady victories and an engine for creation and leap forward. This is the faith deeply cherished by the army and people of the DPRK which have advanced along the Juche-oriented road of socialism under the banner of developing the two fronts, smashing the enemies' nuclear war moves and sanctions and pressure. Within a few years the DPRK created eye-opening miracles in building up the state nuclear force, weathering all sorts of difficulties and ordeals by its own strength under the banner of the strategic line. The DPRK proudly emerged a world military power that has strategic submarine-launched ballistic missiles, H-bomb and ICBM. A fundamental change has taken place in the comprehensive strength and strategic position of the DPRK and the confrontation structure on the Korean peninsula and the world political landscape have undergone dramatic changes. The U.S. imperialists, frightened by the power of the DPRK making long strides under the banner of the strategic line, are making desperate efforts to deprive the DPRK of its sovereignty and rights to existence and development. However, the reckless behavior of the Trump group is nothing but the death-bed struggle of the losers who are panic-stricken by the might of the DPRK. Nothing can break the faith and will of the army and people of the DPRK to win one victory after another, holding fast to the line of simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of nuclear force under any kaleidoscopic situation. |
