Rodong Sinmun Calls for Combating Evils in S. Korea
Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- There is growing public feeling that the present south Korean authorities should expose the deep-seated evils during the conservative regime and punish those related to the evils, says Rodong Sinmun in an article Wednesday.

The article continues:

The worst of the deep-seated evils in south Korea is now foul actions servile to the U.S. and confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north. To thoroughly combat them is a way to the realization of independence and democracy in south Korean society.

The dynamic struggle now under way in south Korea to clean up the deep-seated evils is a just one to wipe out the puppet conservatives, a fetter of the society and the root cause of misfortune and sufferings, and realize justice and democracy.

Eradicating the deep-seated evils precisely means throwing overboard the conservatives.

If one fails to destroy the conservatives without mercy, it is impossible to prevent the revival of the Dark Age when fascism and injustice were rampant. This is a serious warning of the reality of south Korea.

What matters is that the present south Korean authorities are paying lip-service to the combat against the deep-rooted evils and running amuck to repeat the evils of Lee Myung Bak and Park Geun Hye regimes.

They are following the pro-U.S. policy as the Lee and Park regimes did, reading the faces of the U.S. and the conservatives, and repeating their confrontational moves. This is an act of swimming against the public opinion and it is little short of pricking their own eyes with their own fingers.

Whoever goes against the public feeling and challenges the desire of the nation are bound to be judged by history. This is the lesson of history taught by the tragedy of traitor Park.
