S. Korean Body Holds U.S. Forces Accountable for Environmental Pollution

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The south Korean online newspaper Thongil News said that the "Measure Committee for Proper Transfer of U.S. Military Base in Ryongsan" made the "2017 environment, peace and Ryongsan march" in Seoul on Oct. 14.

The organization marched about 2km around the U.S. military base in Ryongsan to demand the de-pollution and transfer of the base.

A survey of pollution in the Ryongsan base should be conducted and the U.S. forces should be held accountable for the pollution, it held.
