Congratulations to New Kyrgyz President

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Sooronbay Zheenbekov on Oct. 17 on his election as president of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.

Kim in the message expressed the belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would grow stronger in the common interests of the two peoples, wishing the president success in his work for the prosperity and development of the country and the wellbeing of the people.
