U.S. Applies Worst Trade Barrier to S. Korea

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- According to data submitted to the "National Assembly" of south Korea on Oct. 11, the rate of regulation of trade by the U.S. against the south Korean goods increased 50 percent in the last 5 years.

The U.S. is intensifying the regulation of import centering on the fields of steel and metal, and now extending the scope of trade barrier to various fields such as chemistry, fiber and machine.

A lawmaker from the ruling party of south Korea said that the "government" failed to estimate the economic damage by the regulation of trade.
