Orchards of several hundred hectares were created this year.

According to an official concerned, the county is planning to create more than 1,000 hectares of orchards within some years.

This year it built 10-odd stockbreeding bases to establish the food production cycle of fruit and animal husbandry on a high level. It is also speeding up the building of fruit storehouse with a capacity of several thousands of tons and a project for modernizing the fruit processing factory.

It finished the projects for expanding the roads, improving the Pukchong River and creating tens of hectares of windbreaks.
