DPRK Women Footballers Beat Their Uzbek Rivals 2-0

| Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The 2017 AFC U-19 Women's Championship started in Nanjing of China on Oct. 15. Divided into two groups, the teams from eight countries and regions are to play group league matches and winners and runners-up from each group will advance into the semifinals of the championship. The DPRK team belongs to group A, with Thai, Uzbek and Chinese teams. The DPRK team defeated its Uzbek rival 2-0 on Wednesday. In the first match with the Thai team on Oct. 15, it beat its Thai rival 9-0. The DPRK team will play its last match with the Chinese rival on Oct. 21. |
