Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, made a speech at the conference.

He said that the festival opened in Sochi of Russia with the participation of representatives of youth and students from various countries of the world is now successfully underway.

He stressed the festival would be a good opportunity to promote friendship and deepen mutual understanding among youths.

The participants watched a video on the opening ceremony of the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students.

The ambassador answered the questions raised by reporters.
