Authorities' Hostile Policy toward DPRK Blasted in S. Korea
Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- The South Kyongsang Provincial headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration and the South Kyongsang Provincial Progressive Federation called a press conference on Oct. 17 to demand that the authorities stop the military exercises bringing a war and withdraw hostile policy toward the DPRK, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

They said that the carrier task force of the U.S., with nuclear carrier Ronald Reagan as a prototype, was conducting large-scale naval exercises combined with a drill for striking key facilities in the north and anti-submarine exercises.

This is a military threat with the intensive deployment of forces enough to mount preemptive strike any time, they said.

The north already warned of military action including a salvo of missiles into waters near the U.S. territory of Guam and therefore it is clear that if the U.S. nuclear carrier commits an advance into the north, there will occur serious military conflict.

The regime claims opposition to war but, in fact, it is calling for sanctions and pressure, straining the tension in close cooperation with the U.S. military action, they charged.
