Japan Will Only Face Terrible Doom: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) --At the recent talks with the foreign minister of Denmark, Japanese Foreign Minister Kono let loose a string of rubbish that "it is important for the whole international community to step up pressure upon the DPRK so as to get it change its policy." Earlier, he clung to the sleeves of diplomatic officials of UK, Germany, China, Ukraine and other countries to stoke atmosphere of pressure against the DPRK, clamoring about the necessity to put pressure of a fresh stage upon it.

It is ridiculous for Japan, no more than a stooge, to trumpet about maximum pressure, poking its nose, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says in a commentary.

The intention sought by the Japanese authorities in letting loose a torrent of rubbish over pressure upon the DPRK is to iron out their worst ruling crisis by inflaming the tense situation on the Korean peninsula to the extremes, says the commentary, adding:

Now the economic policy of the Japanese authorities has faced doom.

The ruling forces are scrambling to evade the crisis of rule by diverting the attention of the people to the story of "threat from the DPRK" which they hyped up.

The Japanese reactionaries are also seeking to realize their goal of militarization and ambition for reinvasion by abusing the increasing tension on the Korean peninsula.

They are organizing the evacuation drill in their country in order to stoke hostility towards the DPRK. They are endlessly conducting all sorts of war drills in waters close to the Korean peninsula together with the U.S.

If Japan, a parasite living under the wing of the U.S., dares keep on rash acts to make a showdown with the DPRK, the former will only face bitter doom.
