Seminar on Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritages Held
Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- There was a seminar on protection of intangible cultural heritages at the Sci-Tech Complex on Monday.

It was attended by officials, teachers, researchers and workers in the fields of protection of national heritages, science and education, literature and arts and media.

Speakers at the seminar referred to the exploits President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed by paying deep attention to the protection of national heritages, clearly indicating the orientation and ways for promoting it and thus adding glory to the time-honored history and culture of the Korean nation.

Thanks to the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, many cultural heritages were newly found and recorded as national silvers to shine as eternal treasures of the people, they added.

They called for carrying forward and developing good traditions, creations and beautiful manners and customs of the Korean nation, as required by the present era.

Certificates were conferred on the national and local intangible cultural heritages newly registered this year.
