Minju Joson Slams Wild Rhetoric of S. Korean Unification Minister

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- The puppet minister of Unification of south Korea, in a document expressing "policy stand" presented to the "National Assembly" shortly ago, called on south Korea to "promote fundamental and peaceful settlement of the north's nuclear issue" as a "key party" responsible for the Korean peninsula issue and pledged to create "conditions for the dialogue for denuclearization" by proposing the initiative for peaceful settlement of the Korean peninsula and "make efforts to lead the north into denuclearization negotiating table through powerful sanctions and pressure" together with the international community. A commentary of Minju Joson Tuesday says that the "policy stand" touted by the puppet Unification minister is sophism that does not deserve even a passing note as it is just a revised version of the policy of "maximum pressure and engagement", a product of the hideous hostile policy of the U.S. toward the DPRK. The puppet unification ministry again cried out for the impossible "parallel development of sanctions and pressure with dialogue", an indication of the sinister intention to totally deny the rights to sovereignty, existence and development of the fellow countrymen and to realize the dirty confrontation ambition with the help of the U.S., the commentary says, and goes on: It will be a waste of time to sit with a waiting maid serving the aggression-minded outsiders. Explicitly speaking, the puppet forces' plan to put the DPRK's "nuclear issue" on the north-south negotiating table and realize the "denuclearization talk" through "sanctions and pressure" is a pipe dream. The puppet unification ministry should clearly know that it can never shake off the ill fame as "idler ministry", "confrontation ministry" and "division ministry" earned during the office of traitor Park Geun Hye, if it is set to maintain the confrontation policy, with no heed paid to the serious warning of the DPRK. |
