Anniversary of Public Resistance for Democracy Observed in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- A rally reportedly took place in Changwon City of south Korea on October 18 on the lapse of 38 years since the October public resistance for achieving democracy broke out in Pusan and Masan in protest against the "yusin" fascist dictatorship. Speakers at the rally called on the public to always remember the event and work hard to achieve democracy in the spirit of the resistance, true to the intention of the democratic martyrs. |
