The symposium heard treatises proving the validity and scientific accuracy of the idea and theory set forth in the letter sent by the Supreme Leader to those attending the Seventh Congress of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK).

The debaters said that Kim Jong Un's work serves as an immortal programme showing the road ahead of the general federation as required by the modeling of the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

The federation is a mass political organization of the working class founded and steadily developed under the energetic leadership and deep trust of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and a powerful combat unit for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche, they noted, adding:

Modeling the whole federation on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is essential to constantly developing it into a mass political organization of the great leaders and creditably discharging the historic mission it assumes in modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

Intensifying the guidance of the organizational and ideological life is a firm guarantee for preparing all members of the federation as genuine Kimilsungists-Kimjongilists.

It is an important task facing the federation to actively enlist the working class and its members in the building of a powerful socialist nation.

Present at the symposium were Choe Hui, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials and members of the federation.
