There were finals of various events at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium that day.

Among the spectators were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK who is chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, Choe Hui, vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, Vice Premier Jon Kwang Ho, Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League, officials concerned, participants of the contest and Pyongyangites.

The Pyongyang City Team won the female volleyball and tug-of-war. The North Hwanghae Provincial Team and the Kwangwon Provincial Team respectively won the hurdle race and running with balls in arms and over heads while dribbling.

There was a demonstration by the Taekwondo Team of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee.

Pyongyang City took the first place in total standings.

Then, there was a closing ceremony.
