In his report to the inaugural meeting of DIU on October 17, Juche 15 (1926), Kim Il Sung clarified that we should fight to the last against the Japanese imperialists to get rid the popular masses of colonial slavery.

He also stressed the need to overthrow the Japanese imperialists and achieve the independence of Korea so as to make sure that the Korean people lead a free and happy life. In order to have the oppressed working people of the whole world lead a free and happy life, it is necessary to creditably carry out the sacred cause of overthrowing all imperialism on earth, he added.
