Russian and Brazilian Media Observe 91st Anniversary of Formation of DIU

| Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Russian and Brazilian media carried an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and special write-ups titled "President Kim Il Sung who provided historic roots of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK)" and "'Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU) and the WPK" in the period between October 9 and 22 to mark the 91st anniversary of the formation of the DIU. The Russian paper Zavtra said that the President formed the DIU with younger revolutionaries on October 17, 1926 and set forth the immediate tasks and final aim of the DIU. Such story was also posted on the Russian websites Irkutskblogspot. ru, Patrioti Moskva and DPRK Today. The online magazine Lemchich and the internet homepage of the Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics introduced the significance of the formation of the DIU. |
