Recalling that October 24 is the Day of the United Nations, the article said:

The international community expected the UN to contribute to global peace and security and prosperity of mankind as required by its mission.

But so many wars, skirmishes, armed clashes and state-backed terrorism have been witnessed in various parts of the world for the past 70-odd years since the founding of the UN. The Jungle Law has denied the principle of equal sovereignty under its connivance.

This means that the UN has not done its bit. In another word, it is a proof that the goal and principle of the UN have been disregarded.

Gravity of the issue is the behavior of the UN Security Council which is acting contrary to the mission of the UN.

The U.S. in a particular position in the UN and some other members of the Security Council have used the UN as a lever for seeking their own interests.

The U.S. unjust acts of abusing the UN as a tool for realizing its strategy for monopolizing and dominating the world have reached their height.

Due to the insincere role of the UN yielding to the U.S. high-handed and arbitrary practices, serious socio-political chaos and disorders and serious crises in the humanitarian aspect like refugee crisis have been created across the world.

Now the world asks the UN for whom it works.

The UN should fully discharge its mission and role as desired by mankind aspiring after peace and development.
