Art Performance Given in South Phyongan Province of DPRK
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- The State Merited Chorus, the Moranbong Band and the Wangjaesan Art Troupe gave their music and dance performance in Anju Theatre of South Phyongan Province on Thursday.

Among the audience were Kim Du Il, chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea; Kang Hyong Bong, chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial People's Committee; and other leading officials of the province and officials, technicians and workers at major industrial establishments in the province and other working people of various strata in Anju City.

The numbers of the performance included male solo and male chorus "Song Dedicated to the Motherly Party", female solo "Opening My Heart", mixed chorus and male chorus "We Cannot Live without You", male solo and male chorus "Korea, Forward under the Line of Simultaneously Developing the Two Fronts" and dance "Dash toward Future".

The performers well represented the greatness of the WPK with profound artistic depiction.

Narrative poem "Give full play to heroic mettle, South Phyongan Province!" represented the immortal traces of the peerlessly great men for the province, putting the audience in deep emotional memory.

Such songs as "Song of Big Fish Haul" were also put on the stage, adding to the atmosphere of the performance.

At the end of the performance the audience presented bouquets to the performers and congratulated them with warm applauses.

The performance evoked a great response from the audience.

It will continue.
