Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea who doubles as chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader," addressed the inaugural ceremony of the Beninese National Committee for Remembering General Kim Jong Il on Oct. 23.

He said that HE Kim Jong Il, who consolidated and developed Korean socialism centered on the masses and brought about wonderful miracles and changes in all fields, led the Korean people to show their unfathomable strength in socialist construction.

Pascal Zouncheme, rector of the Cotonou Institute of Journalism who doubles as chief of the Benin Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, said that HE Kim Jong Il gave scientific solutions to the theoretical and practical issues arising in the accomplishment of human cause of independence through his rare and energetic ideological and theoretical activities.
